A Cancer Diagnosis
Our team of experts is dedicated to helping anyone who has been newly diagnosed, as well as those in treatment, in recovery and who are living beyond cancer.

Being diagnosed with cancer can be a terrifying experience for the patient and the whole family! We are here to support making that diagnosis easier to understand and navigate. The Hearst Cancer Resource Center is here to help guide you and support your cancer journey. Inside our center, you'll find a one-of-a-kind resource. We'll help you learn about the disease, show you how to recognize ways to improve your health, offer ways to help build a personal support system, and offer a sense of extended family through education, nurse navigation, support groups.
Free services include:
- Nurse navigator to guide, advocate and support patients through their journey
- Support Groups
- Social services, programs, one-on-one, family, and financial insight
- Nutritional counseling to achieve health and well-being goals with our Registered Dietitian
- Wellness tools to aid in holistic well-being and relaxation
- Appearance Center with resources for cancer patients to look and feel their best
- Exercise and strengthening classes
- Educational Presentations to gain cancer knowledge and understanding from local and national experts
