Dr. Saeed 's interests include thoracic oncology and diseases of the airway and pleural space. He is a member of a number of societies. Dr. Saeed 's research areas include early detection of lung cancer and opening of the airways for those with advanced lung disease. Dr. Saeed earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Saeed completed four fellowships including: heart failure (Mount Sinai), pulmonary medicine (University of South Carolina, Columbia), critical care (University of New Mexico) and interventional pulmonology (Mayo Clinic, Rochester). Dr. Saeed is an active participant in clinical trials.
