If you currently receive health insurance through Medi-Cal or Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), you must provide the county with your updated information so you can continue receiving important information about your Medi-Cal coverage.
Why is this happening?
During the COVID-19 pandemic, all Medi-Cal or CHIP recipients were continuously enrolled in health insurance coverage without needing to reapply for benefits. Due to a recent federal law, continuous Medi-Cal enrollment ended on March 31, 2023, so you need to take steps to ensure your health insurance coverage will continue if you are eligible.
Our doctors, nurses and care team members are facing shortages in necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) that keep them and the community safe. Many people want to help and we thank you for your interest. Please help by donating through our Foundation.
