RN Residency Program
At Northridge Hospital, we believe our nursing care is our brand. We commit to providing newly graduated nurses with an evidence-based training program which supports a safe and effective transition-to-practice.
Making Your Professional Goals Happen
The Northridge Hospital RN Residency Program accelerates nursing competency by providing in depth experiences, education and support during the Nurse Residents first year. A competency-based curriculum coupled with trained preceptors and active mentorship capitalizes on ANCC Accreditation design and evidence-based practices.
The nurses at Northridge Hospital take pride in being a group of professionals who possess a personal sense of commitment and responsibility to provide care that facilitates health and healing. We embrace the concept that each patient and his/her family have a unique background and individual needs.
We offer two cohorts per year. Graduation is NOT a requirement to apply. Application dates are as follows:
May 1 – 14 for our Fall September Program.
October 1 – 14 for our Spring March Program.
