Lora Hebert, MD, MPH, FACS, DipABLM, is a Surgical Breast Oncologist at Dignity Health Cancer Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Hebert's expertise includes the diagnosis, risk assessment, and management of cancer and precancerous changes in the breast. Dr. Hebert holds a special interest in breast cancer prevention and in helping women thrive after a breast cancer diagnosis.
Dr. Hebert received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. She completed her General Surgery Residency at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and completed advanced Fellowship training in Surgical Breast Oncology at the University of California, San Francisco.
She is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and Board Certified by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
