Ronald “Ron” Gagliano, Jr., MD, FASCRS, FACS, is a colon and rectal surgeon at the Dignity Health – Cancer Institute. Dr. Gagliano is board certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. Gagliano’s expertise includes the diagnosis and surgical treatment of diseases of the small intestine, colon, rectum and anus. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and American College of Surgeons, and a delegate to the American Medical Association.
Dr. Gagliano received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed residencies in Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center, and in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Minnesota. He has over 15 years experience as a surgical educator and is a former surgical residency program director. His passion is excellent and compassionate surgical care.
