Residents, faculty and significant others came together in December to participate in a Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) program to feed starving children throughout the world.
Interview season is here!!! Over 53 faculty from Dignity Health East Valley and the Creighton Alliance Residency programs attended the educational retreat on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion/Belonging and Interviewing candidates.
The website is 120 total pages of content for GME for the East Valley. Along with video footage shot on site at MGMC, their team put together the web pages and social media links that will be critical for attracting our applicants.
On April 12, 2022 we were notified that DHEV Internal Medicine Residency program received its initial accreditation. This is usually a two year accreditation that will be followed by a full site visit to determine if we are meeting the elements.
At Dignity Health East Valley, our internal medicine residency team extends the same humankindness to our residents that we extend to our patients. You will know our program team and leadership as vital resources, key contributors and stalwart supporters for your growth and education.
With internal residency, your skills should involve bedside and “people” skills as well as technique-oriented skills. We have the best facilities and technologies for learning and teaching as well as the faculty and culture to nurture.
Our innovative framework includes special rotations to allow residents to personalize and select the path you want. Your rotations may allow you to experience a hospitalist-type environment or, with electives, experience what it’s like to run and be part of a private practice setting.
