Outpatient Imaging Services

We are proud to offer advanced radiology services, as well as eight outpatient imaging locations.

Imaging Services & Radiology

Your diagnosis is in the hands of expert radiologists and doctors. These experts will supervise and interpret your radiology examinations and will submit a signed report to the primary care or referring doctor in an efficient manner after each test is completed. Arizona General Hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient imaging services featuring the following services:

Digital X-ray

Digital X-ray which captures images and produces them on a monitor instead of film. This type of imaging is particularly used to capture images of bones or organs. Digital X-ray is used to diagnose both outpatients and inpatients at bedside using portable x-ray machines.

64-Slice Computerized Tomography (CT)

A 64-Slice Computerized Tomography (CT) which provides a three-dimensional image of a patient's internal organs. CT scanners use X-rays and computers to create detailed pictures of the insides of the body. A "slice" refers to one horizontal section of tissue. The more slices an image has, the more opportunity there is for the radiologist to determine an abnormality.

C-arm Fluoroscope

A C-arm fluoroscope which is a device used by a physician to guide a needle to a specific area while watching that needle on a live x-ray screen.

Portable X-ray Machines

Our portable X-ray machines that meet our customer's expectations in portable radiography and offer high image quality and product reliability.

Ultrasound

An ultrasound scan which is a device that uses high frequency sound waves to create an image of some part of the inside of the body, such as the stomach, liver, heart, tendons, muscles, joints and blood vessels.
