Meet the Electrophysiology Team
Eric A. “Drew” Robinson, MD is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Dignity Health Heart Arrhythmia Center, Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
Dr. Robinson is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Robinson has expertise in ablation of supraventricular, ventricular, and atrial tachyarrhythmias. He also has expertise in the implantation of cardiac implantable electronic devices.
Dr. Robinson earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson. He then returned to Indiana University to complete his fellowships in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He served as the Chief Fellow for both years of his electrophysiology fellowship and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Robinson believes that one of the best advocates for a patient should be their physician, where shared decision making to achieve the best possible clinical outcome is essential. He strives to treat the whole patient, not just the clinical illness presented.
In his free time, Dr. Robinson enjoys traveling and following the English Premier League, being a longtime fan of Arsenal Football Club.
