Volunteers are special and caring individuals who give of their time, without pay, to assist with patient and non-patient care in our medical facilities.
Dignity Health volunteers provide support to Chandler Regional Medical Center, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and within our Urgent Care centers in Ahwatukee, Gilbert, Maricopa and Queen Creek. All volunteer efforts add to the comfort and satisfaction of patients, staff and visitors.
Volunteers are essential to our healing ministry at Chandler Regional Medical Center. Our Volunteers are special, caring individuals who give of their time, without pay, to assist with patient and non-patient care in our medical facilities. Many of our volunteers enjoy helping others and each brings a personal touch to our staff, patients, and their families.
Many of our volunteers were former patients in our hospitals. They were so touched by the personal care and kindness they felt while in the hospital they want to be able to pay it forward by donating their time to others in need. Volunteers also receive the benefit of:
Chandler Regional Medical Center's volunteers financially supported the GetWell Network to enhance patient education with funds generated through the gift shop. Each volunteer who works on a nursing floor has been trained to assist patients in using the GetWell Network, which includes a screen for patients to request a visit from our "Paws for Patients" program.
If you are a student between the ages of 14 and 18 years old, you are invited to apply for our Summer Volunteen program. The Summer Volunteen program at Chandler Regional Medical Center offers an in-depth learning and leadership opportunity for teens interested in the health care industry.
