What weight loss options do we offer?

Weight loss surgery, also known as bariatric surgery, is a safe and effective way to lose weight long-term. It reduces the amount of food your stomach holds and helps you feel full faster, resulting in significant weight loss results.

  • Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy

With no intestinal bypass, this popular, minimally invasive procedure restricts the volume of food you can eat by creating a small stomach about the size of a banana. You will experience noticeable changes in your gut hormones as this procedure promotes satiety, suppresses hunger, and in many cases reverses type 2 diabetes.

  • Gastric Bypass

This procedure involves separating the top of your stomach to create a small pouch, which a surgeon then connects to the small intestine, bypassing upper portions of the small intestine. Not only does this small pouch reduce the amount of food that can be comfortably eaten at one time, but fewer calories and nutrients are absorbed as well.

  • Gastric Reduction Duodenal Switch

As the most complicated but most effective surgery option, the duodenal switch combines restrictive and malabsorptive techniques. It includes a gastrectomy, removing part of the stomach, and an intestinal bypass, making the path your food takes even shorter. Most patients average a loss of 80% of excess weight over a span of two years.

  • Medical Weight Loss

We are now offering Medical Weight Loss options at the Weight Loss Center. Medications for obesity management can be used for chronic weight management in adult patients who are obese (with a BMI ≥ to 30) or overweight (with a BMI of ≥ 27 with at least one weight-related comorbid condition such as high blood pressure, prediabetes/type II diabetes, fatty liver, PCOS, obstructive sleep apnea, or dyslipidemia).
