Three Arizona Hospitals Receive Top Rankings
St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in downtown Phoenix received the highest ranking among Arizona’s largest hospitals, and its Barrow Neurological Institute is also ranked first for the neurological practices category. Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center are ranked first and third, respectively, among the state’s medium-sized hospitals.
Ranking Arizona is an annual public opinion poll organized by the Arizona Business Magazine. It is the largest business poll in Arizona that ranks various businesses based on voters’ opinion about the quality of the organizations’ products, services and people.
"We are grateful to the community for recognizing our hospitals as some of the state’s best health care facilities," said Linda Hunt, president and CEO of Dignity Health in Arizona. "In addition to the exceptional care that we provide, our patients remember and carry with them the small acts of kindness offered by passionate physicians and nurses."
A network of non-profit hospitals in Arizona, California and Nevada, Dignity Health is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality, affordable health care services with special attention to the poor and underserved. Dignity Health will open a fourth Arizona hospital in the West Valley next month.
"We look forward to expanding our expert services to residents of the West Valley," adds Hunt. "Opening in Glendale, St. Joseph's Westgate Medical Center will advance some of the most innovative uses of materials to promote patient safety, patient satisfaction and medical efficiency."
