Virtually Integrated Care℠ (VIC) Program

What is Virtually Integrated Care℠ (VIC) Program?

Dedicated virtual nurses to care for you and your family 24/7.

Your care team includes a dedicated virtual integrative nurse who appears on the TV screen in your patient room. You control when you speak to the virtual nurse by the tap of a button. The virtual nurse will ask permission to enter, and the camera will turn on. The communication is never recorded and video and audio will turn off when the virtual nurse in finished.

The Why

● Having a virtual nurse as a consistent member of the care team is another way we are providing additional support and exceptional. patient care

● The workforce is changing and the job is physically demanding; this model helps retain the expertise of seasoned professionals.

● Patient needs are not always physical; they often have emotional and intellectual needs that a virtual nurse can help with.

● There are administrative tasks that take significant time for bedside nurses to complete, such as admissions, discharge paperwork, and patient education that can be completed virtually.
