About Dr. Mshelbwala
Dr. Mshelbwala earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Chemistry from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. He continued on to Kansas City University in Kansas city, Missouri where he obtained his Medical Degree. He then completed his Residency training in Internal Medicine from Indiana University in Indianapolis followed by a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Mshelbwala is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Echocardiography. Dr. Mshelbwala's areas of clinical expertise and interest include Cardiac Catheterization, Complex Coronary Intervention facilitated by Intravacular Imaging/Coronary Physiology, Peripheral Artery Disease, Cardiogenic Shock, Mechanical Circulatory Support Devices & Preventive Cardiology. Dr. Mshelbwala's research interest include cardiogenic shock & mechanical circulatory support devices, novel coronary and peripheral artery stents/balloons technologies & anti-thrombotic therapies used in treating coronary artery disease.
