Deljean Buenaventura, FNP-C
Deljean (D)J Buenaventura, MSN, FNP is a nurse practitioner at Norton Thoracic Institute, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. DJ specializes in the management and care of patients with complex lung diseases. She is an allied member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society, as well as a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
DJ earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Misamis University in the Philippines, then went on to complete her MSN and FNP-C degrees from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Before she joined the team at Norton Thoracic Institute, DJ was a staff nurse in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
Her main interests include genetic lung conditions, such as cystic fibrosis, lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM), and alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, and other advanced lung diseases such as pulmonary hypertension and interstitial lung disease.
