Jasmine Huang, MD
Jasmine Huang, MD, is Director of Education and Program Development at Norton Thoracic Institute, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and Co-Director of the Norton Thoracic Institute Lung Cancer Program. She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
Dr. Huang specializes in general thoracic surgery, including lung transplantation, the surgical treatment of benign and malignant lung and esophageal diseases, and the surgical management of chest wall tumors.
Dr. Huang has been recognized as one of Arizona’s “Top Docs” by Phoenix Magazine. She has authored book chapters on the Hill repair, an anti-reflux procedure, and on esophageal cancer. She is a member of the Western Thoracic Surgical Association and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, and she is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
After obtaining her medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine in Providence, Rhode Island, Dr. Huang completed an internship and residency in general surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. Her cardiothoracic residency was carried out at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
