Sreeja Biswas Roy, MD
Sreeja Biswas Roy, MD is a pulmonary/critical care physician with the Norton Thoracic Institute, St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, specializing in advanced pulmonary disease and lung transplantation. She is board certified in pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and internal medicine.
Dr. Biswas Roy earned her medical degree from Calcutta Medical College in Kolkata, India. Following completion of her degree, she went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix. Dr. Biswas Roy completed her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Mayo Clinic, Arizona and a one year non-ACGME fellowship in lung transplantation with the Norton Thoracic Institute.
Prior to joining Norton as a faculty physician, Dr. Biswas Roy completed a clinical research fellowship in lung transplantation with the Institute. Her research interests include outcomes after lung transplantation in the aging population and acute lung injury.
Dr. Biswas Roy is an active member of the American College of Chest Physicians, International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, American Society of Transplantation and the American Medical Association.
