The consultation liaison psychiatrists a St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center offer expert care across the spectrum of treatment settings and psychiatric diagnoses. Our staff comprises the only university-based academic psychiatry program in the Valley. The psychiatrists at St. Joseph’s cover the emergency department, medical floors, and intensive care units, and the department is available to assist patients with pre-existing psychiatric illness who are admitted for medical care and those patients who develop new psychiatric symptoms as part of their physical illness.
