Thomas Gillespie, MD
He is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Creighton University School of Medicine as well as the surgical clerkship director for the medical school. He is also the associate program director for the general surgery residency program.
Dr. Gillespie’s expertise includes advanced laparoscopic, hernia, endocrine, breast, and colorectal surgery. Dr. Gillespie also performs endoscopy such as esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy. He is an active member of the department of trauma and critical care.
Dr. Gillespie received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. He completed his internship at Tufts University of Medicine in Boston and residency in surgery at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
