Matthew Anastasi, MD

Matthew Anastasi, MD, is a family practice and sports medicine physician at University Sports & Family Medicine, part of Dignity Health Medical Group. Dr. Anastasi is board certified in family medicine and sports medicine.

Dr. Anastasi’s expertise includes sports medicine and the medical care of athletes of all performance levels. He provides medical care to ASU athletes and the Diamondbacks. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

Dr. Anastasi received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at West Virginia University in family medicine and completed his fellowship in sports medicine from St. Joseph’s Hospital/Arizona State University.
