Soon-to-be parents
We encourage soon-to-be parents to schedule a free prenatal visit to meet with our pediatricians. This visit will allow parents to become acquainted with us and our care philosophy, tour our office, and ask any questions regarding the birth of their baby and what to expect after delivery/adoption.
-
Breastfeeding Support/ Lactation Services
Our pediatricians promote breastfeeding and are able to diagnose/treat breastfeeding problems in mothers and babies. Our physicians observe the breastfeeding method and make recommendations for both mother and baby to support sustained breastfeeding. There is ample time to provide hands-on support and education during the one-hour appointment.

Asthma Counseling
DHMG Pediatrics at St. Joseph’s offers asthma counseling to children needing specialized asthma care. Children are assessed and their caregivers are provided with a treatment plan to ensure medications are given as prescribed. The children—along with their caregivers—learn when and how to treat an asthma flare-up. Our pediatricians review asthma triggers and demonstrate the use of medications.
