At Dominican Hospital, our team of specialist nurses, technicians, and dietitians are dedicated to helping you achieve and maintain a heart healthy lifestyle. Our outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program is a medically supervised monitored exercise and education program for cardiac patients recently discharged from the hospital.
Cardiac Risk Reduction Program
For heart attack, angioplasty, stent and surgery patients, our cardiac rehabilitation team offers a safe, monitored environment for patients to regain their strength and confidence. Cardiac rehabilitation programs are customized for individual needs and led by clinical exercise physiologists and specially trained nurses.
Dominican’s Cardiac Risk Reduction program is nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation and offers the following services:
- Lifestyle coaching
- Monitored exercise therapy
- Nutritional assessment
- Risk factor counseling
