Laboratory Services

The Dominican Hospital Laboratory operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide excellence and expertise in clinical and pathology laboratory services to hospital inpatients, emergency room and outpatient populations. We are comprised of skilled phlebotomists certified by the American Board of Pathology in Clinical and Anatomic Pathology. When coming for lab work, please bring a photo ID and your insurance information along with your doctor's order.

What To Expect

Some tests may require fasting or other special preparations. Be sure to follow any instructions provided by your doctor. If you’re not sure if there are requirements for your test, talk to your doctor.

Laboratory Hours

Outpatient Procedures

  • Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
  • Closed Saturdays and Sundays
  • Closed major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day)

Anatomic Pathology

  • Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
