Seasoned Surgeon Joins the Medical Staff at MTMC
SAN ANDREAS, CA – June 12, 2020 - Dr. Isabella Flores-Merritt, Board Certified General Surgeon has joined the team at Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC). She is now accepting patients at the MTMC San Andreas Multi-Specialty Care Center.
“Dr. Flores-Merritt is arriving during a very good time for MTMC, stated MTMC President and CEO Doug Archer. “Our Medical Staff is working very hard to meet the new challenges and demands during this unprecedented time in our world. Dr. Flores-Merritt is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She is board certified in General Surgery. She has more than 15 years of experience. She is an Associate Professor of Surgery, at the College of Medicine, California Northstate University, and the College of Osteopathic Medicine, Touro University. Dr. Flores-Merritt received her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and completed her residency in general surgery at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Temple University where she became the Chief Resident.
