Meet Chelsea Sanfilippo, MS - Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist - also an expert in kindness.

SAN ANDREAS, CA – July 1, 2024 – Chelsea Sanfilippo, MS, RDN, assesses nutritional needs and develops care plans for patients at Mark Twain Medical Center. She has over 7 years of medical nutrition therapy experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Biology with a Minor in Nutrition from the University of California, Davis, and a Masters of Science in Nutrition Didactic Program in Dietetics from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. She received a Certificate of Advanced Study in Dietetics upon completing her Dietetic Internship at California State University, Fresno; and continues her studies through the Certification Program of the Institute for Functional Medicine.

She began her career in 2017 with Dietitians on Demand at Avalon Health Care facilities in Sonora and San Andreas and moved on to a position as Clinical Outpatient Dietitian for the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System, serving patients in Stockton, Modesto and Sonora.

Personal counseling key to patient success.

Her personal counseling in both inpatient and outpatient settings helps clients manage chronic illnesses, as well as improve general wellness by implementing healthy eating habits into their lifestyle.
