Meet Dr. Cahill - an expert in orthopedic surgery and kindness.

SAN ANDREAS, CA – July 1, 2024 – Dr. Edward L. Cahill brings decades of expertise in orthopedic surgery to our Mark Twain Medical Center Team. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles in 1979, and also completed his internship and residency at USC Medical Center facilities.

His career has been centered in Stockton, CA, where he was associated with Alpine Orthopaedic Group, Inc., from 1993 to July 31, 2023. Through the years, Dr. Cahill has served as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery Subsection at both Dameron Hospital and St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Stockton.

A proven leader in the medical community, he also held the positions of Chief of Staff at Dameron Hospital and Medical Director for St. Dominic’s Hospital Rehabilitation Services. Dr. Cahill has been certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery since 1986 and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. 

Helping patients achieve success

Throughout his career, Dr. Cahill has linked his love of sports and his orthopedic expertise by serving as Team Physician at both Edition High School and Lincoln High School in Stockton, as well as University of the Pacific. He has always been dedicated to providing the best outcomes possible for orthopedic patients, helping them to achieve and maintain personal goals for long-term success.
