Merced, CA – May 29, 2019 – Mercy Medical Center Merced (MMCM) has announced the opening of the 2020 Dignity Health Community Grants Program.

The grant funds are to be used to provide services to underserved populations including the poor, women and children, mentally or physically disabled, and other disenfranchised populations. This year the grant funds available total $141,000. Grant requests range from $20,000 to $100,000.

All proposals must address one or more needs in Mercy Medical Center’s Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) or one or more of Dignity Health’s Priority Focus Areas which are: access to care, behavioral health, chronic disease, cancer, housing and homelessness, and safety and violence.
