Dignity Health Partners with Vital to Improve Patient Experience in the Emergency Department

Mercy Medical Center in Merced announces launch of ERAdvisor to enhance patient and loved ones’ communication in the Emergency Department.

Merced, CA — June 25, 2023 — Dignity Health announced an expansion of its partnership with Vital, a leading artificial intelligence (AI)-driven digital health company, to enhance patient experience and communication through Vital’s tool, ERAdvisor, which launched at Mercy Medical Center in Merced on May 11, 2023. 

Mercy Medical Center joins 18 other Dignity Health hospitals across Arizona, Nevada, and California that use this tool. With ERAdvisor, patients receive personalized and real-time updates about their wait times that are updated automatically and easily shared with loved ones, easing stress and improving communication. When a patient gets registered in the Emergency Department, they can provide their cell phone number to receive the ERAdvisor updates; with no need to download an app.
