Didactics
All-Day Thursday
Thursday didactics are the residents and faculty weekly protected educational time. The curriculum for didactics is enriched with high-yield family medicine topics, SIM and OMM workshops, Mortality and Morbidity lectures, and Journal Club.
Our residents actively participate in their education through case-based, interactive, and evidence-based presentations. Residents can develop their teaching skills through resident-led sessions.
Our clinical and core faculty engage in our didactics and provide evidence-based presentations on a monthly basis.
Our subspecialists, including Intensivists/ Pulmonologists, Nephrologist, Cardiologist, Infectious disease, Psychiatrist, Pediatric Hospitalists, Addiction Medicine Specialists, and Internists take active part of our didactics and provide monthly and bi-monthly presentations.
Our Touro medical students and Transitional Year interns rotating on Family Medicine Inpatient and Outpatient also actively participate during our didactics.
