Goals and Objectives
We aim to achieve the goal of excellent patient care by:
- Providing the highest quality, patient-centered, cost-effective innovative care to a culturally diverse, medically underserved population.
- Creating collaborative, patient-physician therapeutic relationships that promote the health and well-being of all patients in the community regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity or disability.
- Promoting research and scholarship to build medical knowledge important for evidence-based education and clinical practice with a specific focus on improving disparate health care.
- Developing and maintaining an excellent Family Medicine resident education curriculum that more than adequately trains residents, medical students and provides academic scholarship for all faculty.
