The excellent mix of urban and suburban populations, as well as the chance to work with the underserved, is something that really drew me to this program. Working at Napa State Hospital, one of the oldest state hospitals in California, provides an amazing learning opportunity to work with patients in a forensic setting. We are 2.5 hours away from Lake Tahoe, 2 hours away from Yosemite, and only 1.5 hours away from the Bay Area. I feel blessed to be able to stay close to family and friends in beautiful California.
