Recognizing Outstanding Staff
At St. Joseph's Medical Center we believe in going the extra mile when it comes to caring for our patients. We love the opportunity to recognize our staff members for their extra special acts of compassion and kindness, be they big or small. We have a few different recognition programs to make sure all of our wonderful staff members have an opportunity to be recognized for their great work. Hello humankindness CARE Award
Have you seen a staff member, doctor, or volunteer demonstrate a special act of kindness toward you or a loved one? Contact our Administrative Office at (209) 467-6315 to share your story and nominate that person for a CARE Award.
Physicians with humankindness

Nominate a Nurse for a Daisy Award
If you were cared for by an extraordinary nurse during your time at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, consider thanking them by nominating them for a Daisy Award. Daisy Award nominees personify humankindness by providing excellent clinical care delivered with compassion.
To nominate a nurse, simply send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Name of the nurse you’re nominating (first and last, if possible)
- Location where the nurse treated you (for example, 3rd Floor Ortho)
- Your story of how this extraordinary nurse made a difference in your experience or a loved one's experience at St. Joseph’s
