Good News to Share: Local Corona Family Farms Shows Support with Strawberries for Dignity Health Central Coast Staff
SANTA MARIA, CA – April 20, 2020 – Local agricultural company Corona Family Farms donated more than 40 boxes flats of sweet strawberries as a show of appreciation to the dedicated Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, French Hospital Medical Center, and Marian Regional Medical Center physicians, nurses, and ancillary departments that have worked tirelessly to care for the health and well-being of the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Employees of Corona Family Farms wanted to show their appreciation for the health care staff that are working daily to protect and serve our communities,” says Corona Family Farms owner, Anne Corona. Our company has been here for generations, and we wanted to recognize these hospitals that have also served the community for years, now more than ever.”
Corona Family Farms is proud to serve the Central Coast frontlines. With more than 30 years in agriculture, farming & distributing, they are a second-generation farming family specializing in strawberries.
The gratitude community members feel for health care staff continues to draw an outpouring of support from many local companies and organizations throughout the Santa Maria Valley.
