Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation to Hold Call-a-thon to Benefit Surgical Services
ARROYO GRANDE, CA – December 4, 2020 – Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation will hold its second annual Call-a-thon on December 8, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to benefit upgrades and modernization of the hospital’s surgical services.
All gifts made during the Call-a-thon will be matched up to $100,000, due to a gift matching challenge made by Kon Tiki Inn owner, Henry Myers. The Call-a-thon will be hosted virtually on the Foundation’s Facebook page. Volunteers will call from their homes, and several community leaders and hospital experts will give presentations remotely during the event. Anyone can tune in by following Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation on Facebook.
Funds raised during the Call-a-thon will benefit Arroyo Grande Community Hospital’s Surgical Services Campaign. Several updates are needed to elevate the infrastructure around the hospital’s highly skilled surgery team to match the lifesaving work they do. The campaign will help provide advanced technology, increased functionality and safety, modernized environment, new programs, and education opportunities for staff. Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation is partnering with the community to raise $1.5 M to make these upgrades possible.
