Arroyo Grande Seeking Volunteers
Opportunities to volunteer exist in several areas, including Lobby Desk Reception, Inpatient Medical and Surgical Floor, Emergency Department, Administrative Work for Nursing Staff, Pet Therapy, and Acute Rehabilitation.
Volunteers at AGCH share a desire to use their life experiences, education, and concern for others to support those in need. AGCH asks that volunteers dedicate at least one year of service to the hospital. Most volunteers choose to give many more, and some have served nearly 30 years.
AGCH is a 65 bed hospital with a 20 bed acute rehabilitation facility that has been offering health care services to Central Coast residents for more than 50 years. The full-service medical facility, located in the heart of San Luis Obispo County, is recognized for excellence in acute rehabilitation, orthopedics, emergency care, and cancer care.
