Good News to Share: Dignity Health Central Coast Hospitals Received Outpouring of Support from Local Community

Restaurants, stores, and local organizations showed their support during COVID-19 with donations, contributions, and meals

CENTRAL COAST, CA – May 28, 2020 – Dignity Health Central Coast hospitals are both humbled and grateful for the outpouring of support received during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through our hospital foundations, community members have offered extensive support in the form of meals for employees, donations of masks and supplies, flowers for hospital staff, and monetary donations.   

“As they have always done, our communities have rallied around us during the COVID-19 pandemic, showing their support daily in ways that we never could have expected, says Debby Nicklas, Vice President Philanthropy, Dignity Health Central Coast. “The generosity that continues to pour in to our facilities has been a huge sense of support for the physicians, nurses, and health care staff that continue to serve on the front lines, and the reassurance and praise they are receiving is irreplaceable.”

We are pleased to share the outstanding individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations that have donated to the hospital COVID-19 Emergency Support Funds. Our community embraced our hospital caregivers with such kindness and support during this unprecedented crisis.
