The Alliance for Pharmaceutical Access, Inc. - APA, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) local non-profit organization, founded in Santa Maria in 2004 by local community members and physicians to assist individuals who struggle to meet their basic health needs and are unable to afford their medications. Many are forced to forego taking their prescriptions, greatly increasing the risk of additional decline to their health.
APA provides free advocacy services to individuals who are unable to afford their prescription medications and/or diabetes supplies. APA is proud to provide discounted diabetes care supplies to qualified applicants. Supplies may be given the same day of enrollment. Call for more details. Registration applications for the program may be requested via phone call, fax, or email.
With the support and assistance of Dignity Health, Marian Regional Medical Center, Arroyo Grande Community Hospital and French Hospital Medical Center - APA has continued to expand their area of service.
