Navigators
Our nurse navigators are highly skilled nurses who serve as a constant presence throughout your cancer treatment. They act as a liaison among caregivers and physicians and are specially trained to help you determine what screenings you need along with the different cancer treatment options you’ll find. They are an important source of both information and support that will help guide you through your care process.
There is a lot that comes with a diagnosis of cancer. But you don’t have to manage it alone. Your personal nurse navigator will:
- Coordinate communication between you and your health care team
- Explain procedures and treatments
- Help you and your family connect with the variety of support services available to you.
- Offer support with educational, practical, emotional, or logistical issues
- Help coordinate appointments
- Be a compassionate, helping hand throughout your journey
Our oncology nurse navigators put you at the center of your care team by encouraging you to not only be involved but guide your treatment, support and survivorship decisions.
