Cardiac Rehabilitation
Getting you back to a healthy life after a heart attack or congestive heart failure is just one of our goals at Marian Regional Medical Center. Our cardiac rehabilitation program can help you get back to your previously active lifestyle.
Cardiac Rehabilitation at Marian provides you with a structured and monitored exercise program, diet counseling and heart health education. The program is staffed with professionals who can help you as you walk the indoor track or treadmill, work the rowing machines, cycle on stationary or recumbent bikes, use the Stairmaster and lift weights.
Our program is designed to help both heart and lung patients turn their previously bad habits into heart-healthy good habits.
We also provide:
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) program referrals
- Medical care and physical conditioning for heart and lung patients with calf pain and leg cramping problems
- Monitored exercise, diet counseling and health education
