Infusion Services

Our Dignity Health Infusion Centers provide outpatient care in an ambulatory setting. We have three convenient locations in Ventura County: Camarillo, Oxnard, and Ventura. Our mission is to provide the highest quality cancer care for every patient who walks through our doors. Our whole body and mind approach integrates wellness practices alongside the latest procedures in a unique multidisciplinary approach. So much more than just medicine goes into treating our cancer patients. Our infusion team consists of top oncology board-certified physicians, and nurses that maintain current Oncology Nursing Society chemotherapy/biotherapy provider cards.

Cancer and Infusion Treatments

Chemotherapy

The Infusion Centers feature 6 to 9 private infusion chairs around a large central nursing station. It is always our goal to make you as comfortable as possible during the course of your treatment.

  • Recliner chairs
  • Wireless internet

Procedures and Therapies Performed

  • Infusion of chemotherapy and biotherapy
  • Infusion of hydration, antiemetics, and electrolytes
  • Non-chemo injections and vaccinations
  • PICC and port-a-cath care, blood draws, and port flushing
  • Therapeutic phlebotomy 
  • Osteoporosis treatments
  • Biotech therapies (remicade, enbrel, humira, etc.)
  • IVIG therapy

Appointments Are Required

Please avoid scheduling your treatment too close to other activities that may delay and affect your ability to arrive on time. This will shorten wait times for you and help you get through your appointment more quickly. We encourage patients to bring one visitor to sit with them during treatment. Additional visitors will be asked to wait in the lobby of the Infusion Center. Because many patients are sensitive to strong scents, we ask that you not bring food with strong odors and refrain from wearing perfume or cologne. Only service animals are permitted.  No video or photography is allowed.
