Our 74-bed Sub-Acute Unit is conveniently located on the same campus as St. John's Hospital Camarillo's acute care hospital and emergency services.
We are an adult program (18 years and older) specializing in the care of ventilator and tracheostomy dependent patients. Professionally staffed around the clock, our experienced clinical team members deliver specialized care in order to provide our patients their best possible outcome.

The Sub-Acute team is dedicated to our residents’ physical and psychosocial needs. Under the direction of our Sub-Acute Unit medical director, our team includes: Physicians/Pulmonary Specialists, Nurses (RNs and LVNs) and CNAs, Respiratory Therapists, Pharmacists, Dieticians, Rehabilitation Therapists (Physical, Occupational, and Speech), Restorative Nursing Assistants, Activity Coordinators, Social Worker, and Case Manager.
