DAISY Award

The DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses honors the super-human work nurses do every day at the bedside. The award was established to ensure that nurses know how deserving they are of our society’s profound respect for the education, training, brainpower, and skill they put into their work, and especially for the care that they share with patients and families.

Eligibility: Must be a registered nurse at St. John’s hospitals or a Dignity Health Infusion Center

BEE Award 

Just as the daisy cannot bloom without the support of the bee, nurses cannot do their best work without the outstanding teamwork provided by other health care professionals. The BEE (Being Excellent Everyday) Award recognizes team members outside of nursing for going above and beyond to care for patients, visitors and each other.

Eligibility: Must be a non-nursing employee at St. John’s hospitals or a Dignity Health Infusion Center.

Healing Hands Award

The Healing Hands Award for physicians recognizes excellence in care and skill. Every quarter, we honor one physician who demonstrates exceptional bedside manners and who goes above and beyond to touch the lives of our patients, families and communities. To nominate a deserving member of our team, please fill out this form and place it in one of the drop-off boxes located around campus. Submit one nomination form per person you’d like to recognize.

Eligibility: Must be a practicing physician at St. John’s hospitals.
