St. Johns' Hospitals Receive Celebration of Excellence Award

The Celebration of Excellence award is one of four Celebration of Life awards presented to individuals in the community who advocate for cancer care.

Dr. Kelley was selected for the comprehensive support she provides patients and for her unparalleled commitment, exceptional care and dedication to oncology.

“Dr. Kelley is well deserving of this highest honor,” said Darren Lee, president and CEO of St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital and St. John’s Regional Medical Center. "This award is a testament to her clinical expertise and the compassionate care she provides our patients day in and day out.”

Dr. Kelley is a board certified hematology/oncology specialist and the immediate past medical director of the oncology program at St. John’s Regional Medical Center. She currently chairs the St. John’s Hospitals Community Board and was previously chief of St. John’s Medical Staff. Dr. Kelley also volunteers her time as the cancer liaison physician between St. John’s and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Kelley was presented with the award at the Celebration of Life: Faces of Hope Gala on May 1, 2015 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village.
