Biplane Neuroangiography System
Advanced Technology: Biplane Neuroangiography System
Central to the success of St. John’s Neuroscience Center is our NEW state-of-the-art biplane procedural suite with the most advanced imaging in Ventura County.
At St. John’s Regional Medical Center, our new Artis Q biplane system suite allows surgeons to implant, repair, and perform complex minimally invasive procedures on the spot. The system can also be used for diagnostic and interventional purposes, in the same setting, without the need to transport the patient to a different machine.
The Artis Q biplane system features advanced imaging capabilities, and can move 360 degrees around the patient, allowing for optimum correct viewing. The Artis Q offers unparalleled performance by providing high contrast resolution x-rays, while the optimized x-ray pulse helps reduce radiation by up to 60%.
The biplane system equips our team to deliver potentially lifesaving care with unprecedented speed and precision. Our biplane system enables us to provide:
- Superior accuracy essential to intervention in sensitive neurological procedures.
- Enhanced visualizations of the brain and spine neurovasculature.
- Treatment that reduces risk and expedites recovery.
- Neurological applications of biplane angiography.
The biplane also produces highly detailed three-dimensional views of blood vessels leading to the brain, which aid physicians in performing neuro-interventional procedures for:
- Stroke
- Carotid Disease
- Aneurysm Treatment
- Vasospasm
- Arteriovenous Malformation
- Dural Arteriovenous Fistula
- Brain Tumors
- Head and Neck Tumors
- Epistaxis (Nose bleeds)
- Intracranial Hemorrhage
- Spinal Diseases (fistulas, tumors, degenerative disease)
