New! St. John's Hospitals Launch Excelsius3D™ Spine Robot

St. John's Hospitals took a step forward in revolutionizing our operating room with their most recent acquisition of Excelsius3D™. Excelsius3D™ is designed to improve accuracy and optimize patient care by using robotics and navigation during implant surgery. A robotic arm guides the surgeon to the specific spine region using a planned pathway.

Throughout the procedure, the surgical instruments and implants are continuously displayed on the screen for the surgeon and staff to monitor. This display allows the surgeon to view live feedback during your procedure for more precise implant placement.

“Our neurosurgeons deliver personalized care by using the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques to improve outcomes and shorten recovery times. Our doctors are immensely experienced with robotic-assisted technology for complex neurosurgical cases,” says Dr. Amit Goyal, Staff Neurosurgeon, St. John’s Hospitals.
