East Woodland urgent care adjusts hours and procedures

WOODLAND, Calif. (March 20, 2020) — Woodland Clinic remains open at all six locations and has implemented a number of safety protocols and precautions in alignment with the latest guidance from health officials and the CDC to help keep patients and care teams safe and healthy. As part of our effort around coronavirus, we will be adjusting hours and check-in procedures at the East Woodland Urgent Care location in order to most safely meet community need.

Effective Monday, March 23, East Woodland Urgent Care (2081 Bronze Star Drive, Woodland) will be open Noon to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Previously, Urgent Care opened at 8 a.m. on weekdays. Weekend hours will remain 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., both Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to the change in hours, patients are also asked to call ahead to request an appointment time, rather than arriving as a walk-in. The phone number to call for appointments (530) 668-2600.

These changes come in response to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak and will allow staff to properly screen patients via telephone prior to their arrival at the clinic.

The safety of our employees, physicians and patients is our highest priority, and we will continue to review and adjust our process as needed. Precautions include careful evaluation of upcoming appointments and proactively reaching out to patients scheduled for elective, routine or non-essential visits to discuss their care plan and avert unnecessary clinic visits. Alternative options include scheduling a telephone visit and other virtual options for appointments that are not urgently needed or do not require a physical examination.
