Our audiologists obtain a thorough case history, and, combined with testing results, advise and counsel patients and their families, making recommendations for improved hearing ability. Audiology is a specialty that provides a wide range of diagnostic testing to determine the type and degree of hearing loss for patients of all ages. Testing is provided in a sound booth using a variety of calibrated equipment and testing techniques. Audiologists also refer to our Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat - ENT) physicians if medical conditions are present - giving our patients convenience and continuity of care.

Ear, nose and throat services

Otolaryngologists-commonly known as ear, nose and throat physicians-evaluate and treat patients with problems of the head and neck area, including the ear, middle ear, nose, sinuses, oral cavity and larynx. Otolaryngology is somewhat unique among other specialties, as its doctors receive training in both medicine and surgery, providing a wide range of clinical services.

Wounds care services

When you suffer from a chronic wound, it can upset your daily life and routine - it can also be painful. At Dignity Health Medical Group, you will receive the right treatment to heal your wound. Our dedicated team at our wound care clinic has experience treating a variety of wounds that have resisted other treatments. You may be prescribed one of the following therapies:

Symptoms

Wounds are considered non-healing if they do not show improvement after 30 days. In addition to not healing, some of the signs and symptoms include:

  • Numbness on or around the wound
  • Pain that is severe or increases over time
  • Changes in color
  • A foul odor emanating from the wound
  • Noticeable swelling around the wound
  • Fever or other signs of infection, such as redness or discharge
