Siena Campus Gets Highest Safety Score from Consumer Reports

In a recent Consumer Reports hospital safety-score ranking, Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican's Siena Campus received the highest safety score in southern Nevada. The Safety Score is a composite of important safety and quality data, including hospital-acquired infections, unnecessary readmissions, mortality, communication between patients and clinical staff, pain control and avoidance of certain practices and procedures that could lead to complications for the patient.

“St. Rose is proud of the quality care we bring to southern Nevada,” says Rod Davis, senior vice president of operations for Dignity Health Nevada. “Beyond this achievement, our Siena campus was also recently named as the most affordable by the Center for Health Information Analysis for Nevada. Our other two campuses, as well, have reached laudable benchmarks and milestones in patient care. We continue to strive to offer patients the best-quality care in southern Nevada at an affordable price.”

Consumer Reports’ ratings come from scientifically-based data on patient experience and outcomes, as well as certain hospital practices gathered from public sources.
