Message from the Program Director

Dignity Health St. Rose Dominican Hospitals is excited about the planned opening of our Family Medicine Residency Program in July 2024.  Our training program will provide a diverse mix of cases, patients, faculty, and staff.  Your training at St. Rose Dominican Hospitals will be provided by both community physicians and employed physicians.  Our community physicians are excited about the opportunity to train family medicine residents.  Training will occur primarily at St. Rose Dominican Hospital San Martin Campus with some rotations at St. Rose Dominican Hospital Siena Campus.  

Our goal is education that results in the diverse, highest quality, patient-centered family medicine physicians as graduates.  The medical field is evolving constantly which necessitates training programs to constantly change to ensure we are meeting the needs of the community and healthcare as a whole.  This means our residency will constantly be assessing the changes needed and implementing those changes.  Innovation is a cornerstone of medicine and will be an aim of the St. Rose Dominican Hospitals Family Medicine Residency Program.

St. Rose Dominican Hospitals Family Medicine Residency Program is guided by a culture of inclusion and respect for all: from staff to residents, to patients and families.  From the time you start training you are a part of our St. Rose’s family and every faculty member has a vested interest in not only your education but in your well-being.  We welcome resident feedback to continually improve our program and your education.
