Let’s Slow Down Dementia with Cognitive Stimulation Therapy
Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) is an evidence-based group intervention for individuals with mild to moderate dementia. The program uses conversation, socialization, and physical activity to promote cognitive function. Participants meet twice a week for 7 weeks, engaging in enjoyable activities that stimulate memory and concentration in a supportive environment. While there is no cure for dementia, CST helps slow its progression. A cognitive assessment and screening are required prior to participation. This program is also offered in Spanish.
